Introduction to Data Translation Services

Theorem has a very broad range of data exchange applications for CAD to CAD, CAD to STEP and CAD to Visualization formats, however as a service we have an even broader range of formats we can provide.

There are two optional ways to use our on-line CAD Translation Services at CADverter.com

  • The service is operated over the Web or if you prefer by sending parts using Tape, CD or Diskette. It offers you a vast range of CAD conversion products on either a pay as used basis or membership scheme. If you use the service very frequently you can switch to have your own copy of the converter and run the process yourself by paying an agreed license fee.

  • The service is a secure facility. All data is uniquely identified, password protected and encrypted for maximum security.

  • All quotations are provided free of charge and a fixed price is quoted per part.

  • It is the perfect solution if you are spending time manually converting data or recreating geometry in your own CAD system. The service improves time-to-market, saves engineering time and frees up more time for innovative design.

  • By using the service you are also backed up by a team of Data Exchange experts who can handle any problems or respond to any issues you may have.

  • It is a fixed price pay as you use service providing access to all Theorem translation products, which will convert CAD geometry, assembly structure and attribute data between the worlds leading mechanical CAD/CAM systems.

  

  • The introduction of a new subscription scheme offers savings of up to 20% on the cost of converting CAD geometry, assembly structures and attribute data between the worlds leading mechanical CAD/CAM systems.

  • This scheme is based on a single annual payment. By avoiding the need to raise requisitions, orders or financial justifications, as well as authorise individual payments on a job by job basis, users of the service can significantly streamline their product development operations.

  • Entry level membership rates start at just £650.00 ($1000 US or 1000 euros) for the translation of up to 250 MB of data or 25 files during a 12 month period, a significant saving over ad hoc use of the service. In addition, subscriptions can be tailored to the needs of user organisations depending on the number of parts and volumes of data likely to be translated. As a result, the service remains extremely cost-effective regardless of the rate or volume of translations undertaken.
  

For longer term or large volume translation Theorem’s translation services helps to eliminate costly short or long term contractors by acting as an engineering partner that is flexible enough to meet workload peaks and project task assignments. Theorem's data translation services are built on a foundation of skilled engineers with experience in multiple industries supported by a broad range of engineering tools.
