Theorem showcases latest data translation and process management tools at COE Auto 2006
Capabilities of CATIA CADverter and Theorem Process Manager to be featured at major COE automotive event
Theorem Solutions’ latest generation CATIA V4 and CATIA V5 CADverter translators will be showcased by the company’s US operations as part of its presentation at COE Auto 2006 - to be held in Dearborn, Michigan on 9th& 10th October.
Visitors to COE Auto, the only international event uniting and supporting the users of Dassault Systèmes’ solutions in the motor industry, will have the opportunity to see the capabilities of Theorem CADverters in action for themselves. In addition, the company will be highlighting how its latest CATIA V4 and V5 translators support ‘design in context’ operation within a MultiCAD environment.
Further new products on show at COE include Theorem Process Manager (TPM), an easy-to-use, yet powerful application for controlling, managing and monitoring work flows and batch processes.
Among TPM’s key features is its ability to monitor reports - such as the quality of file translation - and then take decisions on the basis of their content. For example, TPM can be easily configured to identify files that have fallen below a specified quality standard, then automatically re-submit them for translation using different command line settings - enabling higher quality translations to be achieved without the need for operator intervention.
“CADverter products deliver their greatest benefits in industries where there is complex mechanical design and the regular use of advanced CAD systems,” comments Theorem’s general manager, Keith Jeacock. “The COE Auto workshop brings these two elements together in one place.
“Over the course of the two-day event, we shall have the opportunity to focus on the requirements of both existing and potential users in this important industry sector. Furthermore, it will enable us to highlight how complementary products such as TPM add value to the acknowledged accuracy, speed and reliability of our data translation technology.”
